Business Development Manager - bnbfinder

Job Description: The Business Development Manager primary responsibility is to acquire high value Vacation Rental inventory in top destinations for bnbfinder’s fast-growing customer base. By doing so, you will grow listings through targeted prospecting and value-based selling.

 

What You will Do: 

  • Acquire net new supply, with a focus on high demand areas to match traveler demand
  • Deliver high-quality conversations to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Develop a contact & call strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Daily outreach using a discovery, value pitch, objection handling and compelling closing statements to win the business
  • Introduce prospects to bnbfinder’s marketplace and facilitate their onboarding process
  • Drive new partner education to maximize production potential at “Go-Live” and prepare them for hand off to an Account Manager
  • Execute effectively against all targets, goals and strategic objectives set by leadership
  • Become familiar with key demand and supply indicators, economic data, trends, and competitive information within the Vacation Rental marketplace
  • Deliver presentations, attend industry events, and build the company profile in market as needed

 

Who you are:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related professional experience
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or OTA (Online Travel Agency) market management 
  • Success in this role means bringing a robust ability to read and sell to any audience, the ambition to achieve and succeed, a strong work-ethic, and a competitive nature
  • Mastery of sales techniques including cold calling, objection handling, quarterly planning, pipeline management, sales forecasting
  • Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, JIRA
