The Seven Sea Street Inn has been welcoming guests since 1987, when it was designed to replicate an earlier post-and-beam colonial home. Seven Sea Street’s innkeeper, Matt, has drawn on his lifelong love for Nantucket to run the inn since its founding. Growing up as an “army brat” in New England, Matt first visited Nantucket as a child, and instantly felt the magic of the place—he and his sister promised not to take off their Nantucket rope bracelets until they could return to the island.
The home features eleven guestrooms, divided between the Main House and Guest House; all are decorated in a “cottage chic” style that evokes New England’s heritage. The Inn’s suites are equipped with fireplaces to complete the sensation of rustic charm and to warm the rooms through colder weather. They also feature rainshower-style showerheads and deluxe coastal bath products, among other amenities both practical and indulgent.
The Inn is well-known for its elegant breakfast offerings, which can be enjoyed in the Main House breakfast room—featuring socially distanced seating beside a crackling fire—or café-style, beneath sun umbrellas in the garden patio. The house also offers breakfast in bed for a luxurious, relaxed experience.
