They even timed the opening for business twenty years ago on Valentine’s Weekend!
Views of the lake make relaxing on your private veranda a treat. Or if you prefer some quiet reading inside, pull up a comfy chair in one of the two common areas and work through that novel you’ve been saving for just the right time. There’s a great room on the lower level that opens to a large covered patio where you can enjoy a drink from the 19th Hole as you unwind by the gas-burning fireplace. There is a marina for boating, horseback riding stables, and numerous lakeside restaurants for dining while overlooking the scenic waterways. Trying to choose between miniature golf, go-kart tracks, 50 antique stores, and over 45 waterfront restaurants will leave you begging for some R&R back at Harbour Ridge.
Wineries play a significant part in drawing visitors to this part of the state as well. Missouri has over 130 wineries statewide! The area was known as the “Missouri Rhineland” in the 1800s due to its similarity to that region of Germany. It was also heavily influenced by the influx of German immigrants to the area. Seven Springs Winery and Golden Rock Winery are two of the six wineries within a short drive of the Inn. They make up part of the Lake of the Ozarks Wine Trail that is a must-see.
